I have been an educator all my life. First I taught middle school, then I worked in the religious education arena at my church--from teaching to running the program. I then was an executive director of a small arts organization and finally I worked in the State of MI Legislature. I then began my own consulting company where I worked in the political arena educating newly elected officials and teaching advocacy skills. I have three grown children, all married. I have one grandchild that we are expecting in July of 2008.
Five miles long, the Mackinac Bridge goes from Mackinaw City to the UP. I look at this bridge out my window from where I stay and work.
